PRINCE 3RDEYEGIRL/twitter
Although he declared three years ago that 'the internet is over' (erm, right) Prince has finally got on Twitter.
Tweeting through the account of his band 3rdeyegirl, Prince's first couple of tweets read like he didn't quite understand the concept of Twitter. Either that or he's really meta.
The first tweets from Prince's fair hand read: "PRINCE'S 1ST TWEET... TESTING 1, 2..." and, quite simply, "PRINCE'S 2ND TWEET."
Brilliant.
Then the Purple Rain singer mixed things up by tweeting this picture of his dinner and the words:
"PRINCE'S 3RD TWEET: DID EYE ADD 2 MUCH PEPPER?"
To which we might respond, yes Prince you did.
We don't know why but we feel a bit let-down that he eats salads.
We imagine him existing on diet of glitter and raw sexual energy.
The artist formerly known as a squiggle also looks like he needs some clarity on the meaning of a selfie, as he tweeted the words "1st SELFIE" with just a picture of some smoke.
Prrrinnnnce! You have to be IN the selfie.
If he needs some inspiration he should start following Queen of the Selfie Helen Flanagan.
