Apple reportedly will unveil its next iPhone on 10 September

GADGET DESIGNER Apple reportedly will announce its next iPhone at an event on 10 September.
Yep, it's that time of year again, as sources have told Allthingsd that the date has been set for Apple's announcement of its next iPhone. It apparently will occur on 10 September, two days short of a year after last year's iPhone unveiling which took place in San Francisco on 12 September.
Unfortunately the sources didn't seem to know much more about the next iPhone, and didn't say whether it will launch as the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6, or whether it will be accompanied by a budget handset.
However, there's been plenty of speculation about the next iPhone already. It reportedly will feature a design similar to the iPhone 5, although there is speculation that it will squeeze in a larger 4.3in display.
We also know for sure that the next iPhone will feature Apple's iOS 7 operating system, which debuts the firm's 'flat' software design and new features such as iRadio and a Control Center.
Other rumoured specifications include an improved 12MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash, a built-in fingerprint reader for added security and improved battery life.
Apple's as yet unannounced budget iPhone, likely to launch as the iPhone 5C, apparently will feature a colourful plastic body, a 4in display and a much lower price than the next flagship iPhone.
Apple was not immediately available to comment on the rumour, but it's unlikely to say anything until it sends out its event invitations.
