Jennifer Lopez was awarded the 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, accepting the honor with just a few tears.
"I cried like almost 15 thousand times," she said after the ceremony, speaking with the Associated Press. "It was so crazy. But I kept promising everybody I wasn’t going to cry and they were like, 'Cry!' 'You’re not helping!' But it was an amazing moment."
Lopez, who had on hand boyfriend Casper Smart and 5-year-old Max and Emme, her twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, called it a "landmark day" for herself and her family.
